The Ferrari World Abu Dhabi theme park will open its doors in 100 days on October 28th 2010, so the Prancing Horse is unveiling the attractions that can be found under its massive triangular red roof that stretches over 200,000 square meters.

As you can imagine all 20 attractions at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will be based on the world of motorsports, and to mention just a few there is the ‘Formula Rossa’ which is the world’s fastest roller coaster that can reach speeds of 240 km/h, ‘Speed of Magic’ which is a 4-D journey where no Ferrari has gone before and the ‘V12’ attraction which is a flume ride to the heart of a 12 cylinders engine.

According to a new rumor, the Japanese car maker is planning a comeback for the Mazda RX-7 which is expected to hit the market in 2013 with a turbocharged engine under its skin.

The same info mentions that the 2013 Mazda RX-7 might be badged as the RX-9, and the rotary engine powering it should deliver more than the RX-8 for which production will end in August 2010.

Based on recent information that appeared in the British press, Abarth’s own coupe version based on the Fiat 500 will be called the Abarth Fiat 500 Speedster.

Inspiration for this project will get drawn from the 1959 Zagato Abarth 750 T model and some of the elements that will stand out are a cut-down windscreen, a new roofline and D-pillars plus a double-bubble roof for the fixed-top version.

The Bavarian automaker has announced that its BMW Classic Center has completed the first full restoration which has been a 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi.

Restoring the 1972 BMW 3.0 CSi required months of work and after most of the car was recreated in a close to perfect state, it was given back to its owner who also wanted the 4-speed manual gearbox to be converted into an automatic.

The tuners from NOVITEC have approached the Maserati Quattroporte offering a touch of uniqueness and increased performance to the Italian luxury sedan.

The NOVITEC Maserati Quattroporte program applies to both the S and Sport GT S versions and as a result the output coming from the 4.7-litre 8-cylinder 4-valve engine is increased from 430 HP (318 kW) and 490 Nm of torque to 590 HP (434 kW) and 572 Nm.

This next video which we call ‘Grand Theft Parking’ is basically a ‘tutorial’ on how to create you own parking space in crowded cities in a matter of minutes. It involves two transparent plastic sheets and a fake parking sign, and perhaps this Chinese girl that was spotted in Beijing should patent the idea of ‘mobile parking’ as she has just invented the easiest way of parking a car pretty much anywhere you want without getting a ticket.

Jokes aside we do not encourage this type of actions and even though the girl in the footage is pretty inventive we are sure that authorities have other words to classify her actions.

This is the 2011 Ducati 848 EVO, and the Italian manufacturer states that EVO stands for the additional 6 HP developed by the Testastretta engine. This means the 2011 Ducati 848 EVO packs 140 HP (103 kW) and 72.3 lb-ft of torque so the Brembo Monobloc brakes have also been improved to cope with the power boost.

The 2011 Ducati 848 EVO weights only 168 Kg and customers that are interesting in purchasing it can place their orders starting from today, July 20th, 2010. Demo bikes will start arriving at dealerships by the end of this month and the first deliveries are scheduled for September.

The German automaker has published a new video through witch it announces that the Audi A7 Sportback launch date will be July 26. Public unveiling for the Audi A7 Sportback will take place during a special event at the modern art museum in Munich, Germany, at 6.28 UTC or 2.28 EDT so the long wait will finally come to and end as we will be able to find out that exactly will competitors like the upcoming Mercedes CLS will have to fear.

The Audi A7 Sportback was initially presented as a concept last year at the Detroit Motor Show and in production form the car will probably serve as a platform for the future generation Audi A6.

According to the latest rumor circulating in the British automotive press, the newly introduced Range Rover Evoque will have a competitor sometime by 2012, and that will be the MINI Canyon.

We’ve seen MINI depart from its compact origins with the Countryman, and if this new report will become reality then the British brand is expected to reveal the 2012 MINI Canyon which will basically be a two-door version Countryman at next year’s Geneva Motor Show.
