According to a new rumor, the Japanese car maker is planning a comeback for the Mazda RX-7 which is expected to hit the market in 2013 with a turbocharged engine under its skin.
The same info mentions that the 2013 Mazda RX-7 might be badged as the RX-9, and the rotary engine powering it should deliver more than the RX-8 for which production will end in August 2010.
What’s interesting about the 2013 Mazda RX-7 is the fact that the turbocharger used in conjunction with the engine will be electric, and as far as design we might see something inspired from the Nagare.
Stay tuned for more info on the 2013 Mazda RX-7.
