Vauxhall GTC Paris Concept
The British arm of Opel, Vauxhall has released information regarding this year’s lineup for the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
Besides the world premiere for the Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer, the main highlight at their stand will be the world debut of the Vauxhall GTC Paris Concept, a sporty compact hatch which will combine speed and beauty.
2011 Land Rover Freelander 2
The British company is presenting the facelift version 2011 Land Rover Freelander 2 which comes with an upgraded diesel engine, improved performance and a 2WD drivetrain options.
The 2011 Land Rover Freelander 2 comes with the 2.2-litre TD4 diesel engine that packs either 150 PS or 190 PS both versions returing 45.6 mpg (165 g CO2/Km) and 40.4 mpg (185 g CO2/Km) respectively. With the 150 PS version 2011 Land Rover Freelander 2 performance figures remain the same while the 190 PS variant accelerates from 0 to 60mph in 8.7 seconds and has a top speed of 118 mph.
2011 Nissan Elgrand
Details with the 2011 Nissan Elgrand, which is a Quest based luxury minivan sold on the automaker’s home market, have been revealed.
Powering options for the 2011 Nissan Elgrand are represented by a 3.5-litre VQ35DE engine with a maximum output of 280 PS (206 kW) @ 6,400 rpm and 344 Nm @ 4,400 rpm plus a 2.5-litre QR25DE packing 170 PS (125 kW) @ 5,600 rpm and 245 Nm @ 3,900 rpm.

When powered by its 6.2-litre V8 mated to the standard 6-speed automatic gearbox, the Chevrolet Camaro SS produces 400 horses and 395 lb-ft of torque while the manual version pushes 422 HP and 408 lb-ft of torque.
Some of the features offered on the Chevrolet Camaro SS include 4-piston performance brakes from Brembo, a stiffer suspension, launch control plus the car’s stability control system features the additional Competitive and Sort modes.
BMW 120i Coupe Performance Unlimited
A second special edition model (besides the X6 Performance Unlimited) developed by the Bavarian automaker strictly for Japan is the BMW 120i Coupe Performance Unlimited which you guessed it…comes with accessories and parts offered in the M-Sport package and from the company’s Performance division.
Offered with exclusive body colours (White or Le Mans Blue) the BMW 120i Coupe Performance Unlimited comes fitted with the M-Sport front and rear bumpers, redesigned 18 inch alloy wheels, carbon exterior mirror casings and a carbon boot lid lip.
Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni by ANDERSON GERMANY
Dusseldorf based tuner ANDERSON GERMANY has taken the Lamborghini Gallardo Balbonito new heights by various aesthetic improvements as well as a 40 PS power boost.
Modifications to the exterior consist of tinted tail lamps, the new exhaust system with three-step valve control and the 3-part 20 inch lacquered rims wrapped in performance tires while at the interior the Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni by ANDERSON GERMANY comes with logo-decorated seats and various white carbon fiver inserts.
DIRT 3 trailer video
The first official trailer presenting DIRT 3, which is set to arrive sometime in 2011 has surfaced on the InterTube. As you might know DIRT was previously known as the Colin McRae Rally and for the game’s third iteration developers at Codemasters have introduced a new play-mode : Gymkhana.
You must be familiar with that term, made popular by Ken Block so besides experiencing the various surfaces, like sand, mud, asphalt, snow etc. there is also this new ‘stunt mode’ in which players can compete.
Audi: 30 years of quattro
The German car maker has published a documentary video in which it presents how their quattro all-wheel-drive system was born and how it evolved over time.
The first Audi featuring the quattro technology which means ‘four’ in Italian, was introduced 30 years ago in 1980 and the original model is also known as the Ur-Quattro, with the first generations S4 and S6 models also reffered to as the Ur-S4 and Ur-S6.
Lumma Design Porsche Cayenne Diesel
For their second project involving Stuttgart’s SUV, tuners at Lumma Design decided to turn their attention to the 2011 Porsche Cayenne Diesel version.
Besides fitting the car with massive new alloy wheels available in 22 and 23 inch sizes, headlight covers and a new exhaust system, the most important new feature on the Lumma Design Porsche Cayenne Diesel is the D-box plug-and-play remap solution that increases stock output with 36 HP and 80 Nm of torque.

Pricing for the right-hand-drive version, special edition model Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari which will go on sale in UK has been announced.
The Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari price starts at 29,600 GBP or the equivalent of 35,500 Euro and only 152 units will be sold in Britain. As the name suggests the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari was inspired by the models featuring the Prancing Horse badge and besides the striking red body finish with two silver stripes running from one end to the other, the small Italian car also features a redesigned front bumper with new air intakes, carbon wing mirrors and Corsa Grey double spoke design wheels.
