2012 Kia Picanto 3 door
Kia is launching a 3 door version of its new city car, the 2012 Picanto, in the UK.
In terms of dimensions, the Kia Picanto 3 Door is identical to the 5 door version, while as far as trim options, this new version is offered in four equipment grades which are ‘1’ and ‘1 Air’, carried over from the 5dr version plus Halo and Equinox.
As standard the 3 door comes equipped with ABS, EBD, ESC, BAS (emergency Brake Assist System), a trip computer, an adjustable steering wheel and a radio/CD player while the 1 Air grade adds air conditioning to the lists.
Senner Tuning Audi Q5
Ingolstadt’s baby crossover, the Audi Q5, has arrived in the hands of Senner Tuning, a company which offers its customers the possibility of enhancing their production car with a series of styling and performance upgrades.
The engine addressed by Senner Tuning is the 2.0-litre TDI unit equipped with S-tronic transmission which has been dialed up to 213 HP (157 kW) and 445 Nm of torque (up from 170 HP and 350 Nm in the stock version).
Wheelsandmore Ferrari 458 Italian Stallion
Wheelsandmore are presenting their second tuning program for the Ferrari 458. This time the car is called the ‘Italian Stallion’ and just like on their first conversion the 4.5-litre 8-cylinder engine has been increased in terms of performance to 621 HP and 616 lb-ft of torque.
The boost was enabled by a revised control unit and a stainless steel, valve controlled exhaust system, thanks to which the car can now reach top speeds of over 330 Km/h.
The Wheelsandmore Ferrari 458 Italian Stallion comes with a modified suspension setup which provides a hydraulic lift of around 44 mm on the front axle, plus a set of forged rims measuring 21 inch, wrapped in Hankook S1Evo tires (245/30/21 front / 345/25/21 rear).
Wheelsandmore Mercedes SLR 7o7 Edition
A second aftermarket program that was recently developed by Wheelsandmore involves the Mercedes SLR.
The car is now called the 7o7 Edition as an indication of the fact that its standard 626 HP (460 kW) and 780 Nm of torque have been increased to 707 HP and 915 Nm of torque thanks to a larger compressor and an ECU upgrade.
The new 0 to 62 mph acceleration time for the Wheelsandmore Mercedes SLR 7o7 Edition is 3.5 seconds, and in order to perfectly accommodate the more powerful engine, the car was also fitted with a lowered suspension and race approved coilovers on which the compression and rebound are fully adjustable.
Wheelsandmore Audi R8 GT
The Germans from Wheelsandmore have made the fastest production model from Audi, the R8 GT, even faster.
As you probably know the standard version which has been limited to 333 exemplars, benefits from a more powerful V10 engine producing 560 HP and a weight saving program that makes the car around 100 Kg lighter than a regular R8 V10.
2012 Toyota Camry 2nd Teaser
Here is the 2nd teaser with the 2012 Toyota Camry, this time shown from the back. The first image was revealing the headlight design, and right now we get to see the shape of the taillights.
Just like the first time, this second teaser was also released on Twitter, and we can easily see that the Japanese are trying to make their upcoming mid-size sedan look mode dynamic through a series of angular shaped elements.
ABT Audi Q3
ABT Sportsline has approached the latest offspring from Audi’s SUV family, the Q3.
Even though in standard form the Audi Q3 looks both ‘classy and dynamic’, the German tuner wanted to further accentuate the car’s unique lines, and they have done it by adding a striking front grille, a redesigned front spoiler with meaner looking air intakes, custom side sills, a rear roof spoiler and a custom rear apron which integrates the four pipe exhaust system.
2012 Opel Insignia Facelift
Opel has published an initial set of details referring to the facelift version 2012 Insignia.
Apart from featuring redesigned wheels and a new paint finish (called Luxor) the exterior remains pretty much identical to the previous generation, while inside the cabin the mid-size sedan will delight its passengers with two new infotainment systems, Nappa leather, and systems like an upgraded front camera with Forward Collision Alert.
2012 Suzuki Swift Sport
Suzuki announces the debut of the new Swift Sport at this year’s 64 edition International Motor Show in Frankfurt, Germany.
The automaker has further refined their sport compact model which was first introduced in 2006, with this new version featuring a more aggressive exterior aspect due to its big front grille, the newly designed fog light surrounds and the sportier looking alloys.
2012 Hyundai i30 Rendering
The Koreans from Hyundai have released a rendering of the new generation 2012 i30. Apart from publishing this image the automaker does not mention anything else other than the fact that we’ll be seeing this new hatchback at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA).
It is easy to notice the fact that the 2012 Hyundai i30 will take a direct shot towards the Volkswagen Golf, with styling in this case drown from the Veloster coupe, both inside and out.
