Jaguar C-X16
Jaguar is offering a peak into the company’s future design language and technology by introducing the C-X16, a concept which will premiere at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show next week.
Designed as a compact, RWD, two-seater, the Jaguar C-X16 is built on an aluminium structure and features perfect 50:50 weight distribution.
Adrian Hallmark, Global Brand Director at Jaguar Cars said “The C-X16 embodies the established Jaguar strengths of sensual design, animal-like agility and inspirational performance and combines these with attributes that set us on a course to create sustainable sports cars of the future.”

Toyota Avensis Facelift Teaser
The Japanese have revealed the first official teaser with Toyota Avensis Facelift, a car which comes with new styling, better quality and improved powertrains that will be showcased along with the Updated Prius, the 2012 Hilux and the 3-door version Yaris at this year’s 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Thanks to this initial image we can see that the 2012 Avensis will follow Toyota’s new design language with elements that include a new grille, newly styled headlamps incorporating LEDs, a more aggressive looking lower grille and bigger and balder looking headlamps.

2012 Hyundai i30 Facelift
As it announced its lineup for this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, the Korean automaker has also released the first set of photos with the second generation Hyundai i30.
This facelift version 2012 Hyundai i30 will continue its battle in the C-segment with a restyled exterior, a better interior and a new engine range. The most visible exterior features are at the front where the new i30 received a pair of revamped headlights and fog lights, while the grille has also been redesigned.

Review Video: Bentley Mulsanne
Autocar has greeted us today with a review video featuring the Bentley Mulsanne, a car which is new in almost every aspect, considering its structure, its design and engine are all bespoke.
Some of the details that make this new Bentley spectacular include rear arches that envelope the rear windscreen and polished stainless steel instead of chrome for the car’s brightwork. Even though some might argue than the exterior design cannot match the one on the Phantom, the Muslanne’s interior is truly impressive.

Video: GhostRider Speeding at 300 kmph in Sweden
GhostRider, a mysterious biker previously seen driving powerful motorcycles at insane speeds on busy highways, has released its latest ‘official’ video for 2011.
For his recent death defiant trip he chose a highway in Sweden, with the weapon of choice being a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 K6 if we can tell correctly from looking at the dash.

Video: Smart Forvision
In this recent video released by Smart, the company talks about its latest innovations featured on the Smart Forvision, a concept developed together with BASF (world’s largest chemical company).
The car will premiere in Frankfurt next week and the most interesting aspects about it are represented by the special wheels and seats made from advanced lightweight plastic. Combined with a special foam padding, these plastic seats are lighter than the ones made from aluminium and Smart says they are also very stable. The plastic used on the rims helps reduce weight per wheel by around 3 Kg, and is currently undergoing testing for future production.

Peugeot HX1 Video
The French from Peugeot have published a promo and a presentation video for the Frankfurt bound XH1 Concept.
The first footage is a clear statement that the Peugeot XH1 represents a concept which puts accent on style and aesthetic values, while the second clip brings a few static scenes with the car being shown from every angle.

Video: 2012 Porsche 911 7 speed manual transmission
Porsche has released a video in which it talks about the new 7 speed manual transmission and the optional PDK gearbox in the 2012 911 (991).
As it describes the way the 7 speed manual works, the automaker from Stuttgart says that gears 1 to 6 have a sport ratio and that the top speed is reached in 6th gear, while the 7th gear has a long ratio and it ensure low engine speeds even when travelling at high speed for long distances. As you can imagine this 7th gear helps reduce fuel consumption.

CLP BMW M3 GT
CLP Automotive, a German company specialized in the development of body kits has created a series of upgrades for the fourth generation BMW M3 that will turn the Bavarian coupe into GT racer.
For 8,880 Euro they will add a a pair of redesigned spoilers, a new front wing, engine bonnet, side channel bar and sidewall jet, plus a new rear apron.
The more expensive part is the the addition of a series of motorsports derived mechanical upgrades. These cost 69,000 Euro and include a power optimisation program which will enable the CLP BMW M3 GT to develop 600 HP, an optimized Bilstein-thread, an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system and white 19 inch sports wheels.

Volvo XC90 2012MY Updates
Volvo announces the fact that it has made a series of updates for the 2012MY XC90 SUV.
These updates include a three spoke steering wheel, a series of aluminium inserts and a watch dial-inspired instrument design with white lighting plus the tailgate which is now featuring a new leather grab handle has been divided into an upper and lower section.
The 2012MY Volvo XC90 also comes with a redesigned load cover and for those who want to stand out a little, the Executive version has been further enhanced with a series of visual components and ventilated leather seats with massage function.
