2011 IAA: Volkswagen Buggy up, Cross up, GT up, Eco up and more
We know the the NILS electric concept is one of the main highlights at this year’s IAA, but this is not the only surprise prepared by the German automaker for visitors at the German Motor Show.
Volkswagen has also unveiled numerous variations based on the up! and these include the e-up, the eco up, the buggy up, the up azzura sailing team, the cross up and the GT up.
The e-up is a near production study with zero emissions which will be launched on the market in 2013 and which features an arc-shaped layout of its LED daytime running lights in the bumper.

2011 IAA: 2012 Audi RS5 Facelift
It looks like Audi has decided to revamp nearly all its models ahead of Frankfurt. One recent model that received a facelift is the Audi RS5, which in case you forgot, was only introduced in the first quarter of 2010.
This new 2012 Audi RS5 Facelift comes with a revised front fascia which mainly includes new headlamps with new LED designs, plus the slightly modified bumper, whereas the rear is now featuring new taillamps.

Maserati Kubang
Here are the first official photos with the Maserati Kubang. The car represents the Italian automaker’s vision of a high performing sport luxury SUV, and thankfully it does not look anything close to what we’ve seen in the fake leaked photos that have been circulating around the Internet these past few days.
The company says that the Maserati Kubang will address the fact that none on today’s SUVs offer the uplifting driving pleasure and luxury atmosphere given by high-end sports and luxury cars.
Maserati has played with the idea of introducing an SUV since 2003 when it first presented the Kubang concept at the Detroit Auto Show, and today they say they are already thinking of building one.

2012 Twingo Renaultsport 133
Apart from introducing the 2012 Renault Twingo, Renault is also offering a peak at its new Twingo Renaultsport 133.
The car will also have its world premiere in Frankfurt and some of its visual elements will include a dynamic grille that incorporates four lights and an F1 style front black in the bumper. At the rear the 2012 Twingo Renaultsport 133 will feature air vents in the wheel arches, and the car will sit on distinctive 16 inch wheels painted in black.

2012 Renault Twingo
The French car maker has premiered the new generation 2012 Renault Twingo in Frankfurt today. They say that with this new version they came up with a different approach, hence the new grille features a bigger and more upward front badge, while the black background headlights project a more confident appearance.
Just like the first generation, the 2012 Renault Twingo has an expressive front end, this time manly due to its new fog lights and the round sidelights positioned next to the grille.

Subaru XV
Subaru has unveiled their new XV crossover today in Frankfurt.
The car expresses “Enjoyment and Peace of Mind’, with everything included in a package that combines a comfortable and spacious interior with the characteristics of an SUV.
Through the Subaru XV the automaker debuts the new generation 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre Boxer engine and the 2.0-litre Boxer Diesel engine, as well as the new Lineatronic CVT transmission and the Auto Start Stop system with Idle reduction.

2012 BRABUS ROCKET 800 Mercedes CLS
Brabus has officially unveiled the world’s fastest street legal sedan, which this time is based on the latest generation Mercedes CLS.
Starting from today the car is being showcased in Frankfurt at the 2011 IAA, and its name it the Brabus Rocket 800 as an indication of the massive amount of HP it can produce.
Powered by a 12 cylinder high-capacity engine converted to 800 V12 Biturbo specifications, the 2012 BRABUS ROCKET 800 Mercedes CLS produces 800 horses (588 kW) and no less than 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft) of torque, which had to be limited to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft).

Land Rover Defender DC100 Sport
Apart from the Defender DC100 Concept, for which will we publish new official photos a little bit later, Land Rover has also unveiled the Defender DC100 Sport today in Frankfurt.
These new concepts “build on the essential elements of the Defender’s character” ad also allow Land Rover to explore new ideas and make people dream about the new upcoming models.
The company says that the Land Rover Defender DC100 Sport Concept is an expression of freedom and leisure, based on a lightweight fixed-alloy platform and featuring cutting-edge hi-tech materials taken from the aerospace industries.

Eterniti Hemera in Depth
Eterniti Motors has just published complete details and new photos with the Hemera, their Super SUV, which looks more like a kit for the Porsche Cayenne.
The British company said the prototype exhibited in Frankfurt will closely reflect the final production version, with some of the differences being that the concept does not feature LED headlamps and lenses.
The Eterniti Hemera features body panels made from carbon composite, while the interior which is 100 percent unique, will be revealed later this year. Aimed towrds buyers who want additional luxury and personalised specifications, the Hemera is an SUV which extract power from a 4.8-litre twin-turbo V8 capable of delivering 620 bhp and top speeds of around 180 mph.

2012 Mazda CX5
The world premiere for the 2012 Mazda CX5 took place today in Frankfurt, the same place where the Japanese automaker has also brought the updated Mazda3 for its European debut.
The 2012 Mazda CX5 is a compact crossover following the automaker’s latest trends ‘KODO- Soul of Motion’ in terms of design plus its latest SKYACTIV technology.
Measuring 4.5 m in length, the 2012 Mazda CX5 will go on sale in Europe next year, with some of its attributes being the all new petrol and diesel engines, the new manual and automatic transmissions, the new suspension the the choice between a two- or four-wheel-drive powertrain.
