Hyundai Genesis Hurricane SC Announced
Here is a first teaser with the Hyundai Genesis Hurricane SC, a car based on the Genesis Coupe…duh, which will premiere at the SEMA Motor Show in Las Vegas next month.
This modified version was jointly developed by Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc. over a two year period, and according to Hyundai all aspects of the vehicle have been improved. This refers to power, traction, braking, interior and exterior design plus the audio system.

Ferrari 458 Spider Review Video
Autocar has managed to put their hands on…for a few hours, on a white exemplar Ferrari 458 Spider. So naturally they have shot a review video for it which can bee seen by scrolling down this page.
When spotted with its roof on, the Ferrari 458 Spider looks almost similar to the coupe version, but there are however a few changes that had to be made in order to enable the aluminium, retractable solid roof to fold inside a tiny space behind the seats.

Toyota to Compete in 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours
Toyota has just announced the fact that it will participate in the next year’s season of 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Their weapon of choice for this well known endurance competition will be a new race car powered by a petrol hybrid powertrain, on which the engine will be produced by Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan and the chassis will be built by Toyota Motorsport in Germany based on the LMP1 specifications.
The 2012 Le Mans 20 Hours is just one of the races part of the 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship in which Toyota wants to enter next year, with these competitions enabling the Japanese company to further explore the hybrid technology.

Hyundai Veloster Price
The Koreans have announced full pricing for the all-new Hyundai Veloster going on sale in the UK in February 2012.
Featuring an unique 1+2 door configuration the Veloster is a compact coupe with a sporty design that enables easy access to the rear seat and is powered by a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder GDI petrol engine. This engine sends 140 PS to the wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox with customers also having the possibility of choosing Hyundai’s first DCT dual clutch transmission.

2011 Kia Rio B Spec Racer
The Koreans from Kia will introduce their new B Spec racer based on the 5-door Rio at this year’s edition SEMA Show.
The 2011 Kia Rio B Spec was developed by Kinetic Motorsports and features a racing setup which includes a roll cage, all the necessary safety equipment, adequate suspension and brakes and a number of other tweaks in order to make the car competitive in the various racing series it will participate.

Project Kahn 2012 Mercedes SLK 200
Project Kahn decided to add a few visual spices to the entry level version 2012 Mercedes SLK. We’re talking about the SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY which received a tweaked AMG sport pack and is now featuring new bumpers and side skirts, a new grille finished in matt black and carbon, carbon front splitters and side vents, red painted brake callipers and roll bars in brushed aluminium.
The Project Kahn 2012 Mercedes SLK 200 has also been equipped with remote control roof plus a custom exhaust system and a lowered suspension.

2013 Chevrolet TrailBlazer Teaser
GM keeps on announcing new stuff, with this latest press release saying that they will introduce the all-new 2013 Chevrolet TrailBlazer midsize SUV on the global markets next year.
The company has also published a teaser image with the 2013 Chevrolet TrailBlazer and said that the first to get the new midsize SUV will be Thailand towards the beginning of the year. The car is based on a new global midsize platform developed by GM do Brasil, and according to GM it combines the “hauling and towing capability of an SUV with the ride comfort and efficiency of a crossover”.

Chevrolet Spark Electric Announced
A second official statement from GM today, this time announcing the production of an all electric version Chevrolet Spark.
This new EV mini-car will be sold in limited numbers in various US and global markets in 2013 with GM still holding back on detailed information regarding this model at this point.
Jim Federico, global vehicle chief engineer for electric vehicles at Chevrolet said that “The Spark EV offers customers living in urban areas who have predictable driving patterns or short commutes an all-electric option,” “It complements Chevrolet’s growing range of electrified vehicles, including the Volt extended-range EV and the 2013 Malibu Eco with eAssist technology.”

Chevrolet Begins Work on New EN-V Concept
Chevrolet announced that it began working on a new EN-V Concept that will represent GM’s vision for ‘safe, connected, zero-emissions personal transportation’.
The company’s two-seat, electric urban mobility concept designed to meet the basic principle of personal mobility and also address environmental issues was first seen at the Shanghai World Expo in 2010, and now, on this new version GM will add new features such as climate control, personal storage space and the ability of operating on all-weather and road conditions.
