Video: M5 vs Panamera S vs E63 AMG vs XFR
Here’s a nice little drag race set up by the Brits from EVO which involves a 2012 BMW M5 F10, a Porsche Panamera S, a Mercedes E63 AMG and a Jaguar XFR.
Usually with these types of videos everyone tries to guess the car that will cross the finish line first, but this time we think its going to be pretty easy to speculate who the winner will be, considering you know a thing or two about cars.

We don’t know about you but this gradual presentation of the Nissan Juke R with details from the development process is starting to bore us to death.
We get it Nissan ! transplanting a 3.5-litre V6 from a Nissan GT-R to a Juke and making sure everything runs properly while the car remains safe is not an easy talk, but would you please sum up everything in a nice press release that contains all the essential data and let us know what this thing is capable of already?
LUXGEN5 Sedan Revealed
After they introduced their first MPV and SUV models, Luxgen, Taiwan’s only car manufacturing company that has its own design and development centre, decided it is time or a sedan.
That is why they unveiled the Luxgen5, an executive sedan of medium-large proportions that features the latest hTC technology and which will target the global market.
The Luxgen5 Sedan will be showcased at the 2012 Taipei Auto Show and in terms of design that car features decorative wings for the front logo, twelve “Re-curved Strokes” along the body of the car for the dramatic visual effect and A and C pillars that were moved as far forward and back as possible in order to give the new sedan a coupe-like form with a low drag coefficient (0.28) and also to maximise the interior space.
G Power 2012 BMW M5 Announced
The power upgrade specialists from G Power have got their skilled hands on the first 2012 BMW M5 F10 and are anxious to start working on numerous enhancements which they say will include new wheels, various aerodynamic parts and of-course an increased output.
Based on an initial evaluation G-Power says it has obtain promising results and should be able to make the new M5 F10 deliver around 620 HP through a first stage kit.
Rinspeed Dock+Go
The Swiss from Rinspeed have always surprised us with their creativity in the automotive department. This time they announce the Dock+Go mobility concept, a two seater electric smart which could be attached with a third axle on two wheels when desired.
This concept which Rinspeed calls “backpacks on wheels” will be showcased at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March, and if you are a bit confused, the company’s boss says it should be regarded as a solution for various activities. For example the rear detachable section could turn this thing into the ideal mini car for any pizza delivery driver, as it can accommodate a heated box, while craftsmen could use it to organize their tools.
Ferrari Tailor Made Personalisation Program
The Prancing Horse introduces their new ‘Tailor Made’ personalisation program for those who cannot quite match their personality and tastes with what a standard Ferrari offers in terms of style.
Thanks to this new program customers will enjoy total freedom in choosing the materials, colours, accessories and finishes for their Ferrari while being assisted and guided through the selection process by their own Personal Designer. The Designer will present a huge array of samples in an area that will feel like an haute couture studio.
Smart For-Us Concept Preview
Smart decided to preview their new ‘For-Us’ urban pickup concept through a couple of sketches before the official unveiling day at the Detroit Motor Show.
Designed for people living active lives who care about low emissions and occupying minimum road space, the Smart For-Us is a ‘practical loading concept of a pickup’ which measures 3,547 mm in length, 1,506 mm in width and 1,701 mm in height.
Vorsteiner BMW X5M Aero Kit
Vorsteiner is introducing a new new aero kit for the BMW X5M which not only helps the car become a little bit more stable at high speeds, but it also gives is a ‘fashionable appearacne’ while maintaining the aggressive look.
The Vorsteiner BMW X5M aero kit comprises of an add-on front spoiler, hood vents and a new rear diffuser, all of which are made using the tuner’s Carbon Fiber Autoclave Pre-Preg in order to achieve strength and durability.
2013 Dodge Dart Teased
Teaser images with the Alfa Romeo Giulietta based 2012 Dodge Dart have just been released by the North American company.
Described as a “Groundbreaking Car with the Ultimate Blend of Power, Fuel Economy, Handling and Style” the Dodge Dart is a compact sedan which will premiere at the 2012 NAIAS in January that will later go into production at Chrysler’s Belvidere Assembly Plant in Belvidere, Illinois.
Video: Nissan Juke R Testing on Silverstone
We’ve already seen many videos (nine in total) with the Nissan Juke R, but none of them showed the extreme looking crossover in action until now (and by extreme we mean both in terms of appearance and performance).
Thank to the Spanish from the AutoHebdoSport we are now able to see what harnessing 485 HP on a wet Silverstone looks like from a driver’s point of view, and the only thing we could argue about is the background music which will most certainly diminish the viewer experience.
