DRIVE: The 24 Hours of Nurburgring Experience
You might of heard about the newest auto channel on YouTube called DRIVE. This channel is backed by a group of people who are all very passionate about cars and are very good at what they do, and just to name a few, the crew includes Chriss Harris, Matt Farah – host of ‘The Car Show’ on SPEED, Mike Spinelly and Ray Wert from Jalopnik and Leo Parente from Fast Lane Daily’s SHAKEDOWN.
As promised the first video was launched in the first day of January and the topic chosen for the channel’s debut was the 24 Hours of Nurburgring endurance race and the overall experience behind it mainly from an enthusiast’s point of view.

Mitsubishi has priced its latest special edition model which expands the Shogun range in the UK. We’re referring to the Shogun Black which is based on the current 3.2 Di-D LWB Shogun SG4 comes with enhanced exterior styling and will be available at UK dealerships from January 1st 2012.
The list of visual enhancements on the Mitsubishi Shogun Black includes numerous black elements such as the roof, spoiler, wing mirrors, grille, headlamp bezels, fog lamp surround, door handles, side steps and 20 inch alloys.

Mopar 2012 Chrysler 200 Super S
A second ‘Moparized’ model apart from the Dodge Charger Redline, which is going to be showcased at the upcoming North American International Auto Show is the 2012 Chrysler 200 Super S.
This modified sedan using custom parts and accessories is going to be available in two stages, with the Stage One concentrating on appearance and Stage Two amplifying performance.

Mopar, Dodge’s performance division, is getting anxious to showcase their latest range of goodies created for the 2012 Charger.
The car’s full name is the 2012 Dodge Charger Redline, and until its official unveiling takes place at the 2012 NAIAS in Detroit later this month, the company is offering a preview containing a few pics and details regarding the three stage kits available for this model.

Vicky Parrot from Autocar decided to make things easier for those who live in the UK, have about 75,000 GBP to spend on a hot coupe, but cannot quite decide on the exact model they would prefer.
That is why she set up a drag race in which the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport accelerates side by side with the Nissan GT-R and the Jaguar XKR.

This time they went on a different route by choosing a more exclusive vehicle, the second generation Porsche Cayenne, which received a full conversion kit.

Mercedes SLS AMG by Senner Tuning
We’ve seen quite a few conversions involving the Mercedes SLS AMG, and this latest one comes from Senner Tuning who say they have come up with a few ideas that brought the German Lightweight Super Sport even closer to perfection.
Their ideas translated into re-adjusting the car’s propulsion system by adding a high-performance air filter and a custom exhaust system made from stainless steel and featuring a “intelligent dynamic head control” system.

We came across a funny video on YouTube that shows a 75 year old lady taking her 6-speed manual Audi R8 on a cruise.
The footage is filmed by her son, who we suspect is the real owner of this car, and as the YouTube commenters pointed out, this should give a new meaning to the term “granny shifting”.
The 75 year old mom even suggest other women in their 70’s to buy this car, because it will guarantee unique thrills.
