2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Unveiled in Geneva
Mitsubishi has unveiled the all-new next generation Outlander at the 82nd International Geneva Motor Show.
The new Outlander which measures 4,644 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,680 mm in height rolls on a 2,670 mm long wheelbase and was previously previewed through the Concept PX-MiEV and Concept PX-MiEV II show cars.
Its new design can be described as ‘Solid – Safe – Simple’ with some of the exterior elements including the round front fascia with wrap-around headlamps, a slim front grille with hockey shaped chrome strips and soft-contoured fenders.

2013 Lexus RX Facelift: Geneva 2012
You’ve already had the occasion of checking out the facelifted range Lexus RX in a series of leaked images that appeared online before the official unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show, but since the car has premiered in the Swiss capital, the Japanese automaker has released new photos and offered details regarding its motorisation.
On the outside the changes are limited to the adoption of the company’s new spindle grille, plus the 2013 RX received headlights which incorporate LEDs, new fog lights and newly designed 18 inch wheels as well as the optional F Sport package which could further enhance the vehicle’s look thanks to an unique front bumper, halogen headlamps, various chrome accents and 19 inch wheels.

2013 Renault ZOE Electric Hatchback
French automaker Renault has unveiled the ZOE electric hatchback in production form at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
Renault has also used the event to announce pricing for their new compact all-electric hatch, and to mention that sales across Europe will begin this autumn.
So the 2013 Renault ZOE starts at 15,700 Euro for the entry level ZEO Life which comes with the integrated Renault R-Link multimedia tablet, Chameleon battery charger and automatic climate control as standard.

Nissan Invitation Concept: Geneva 2012
One of Nissan’s surprises at this year’s Geneva Motor Show (apart from the Hi-Cross), is the Invitation Concept.
In this case we are looking at the company’s next generation mainstream B-segment contender, a vehicle which will join the Micra and the Juke on the European market in 2013.
The Concept combines dynamic design and packaging with well balanced performance, although Nissan dis not provide any exact details on what that really means. The Japanese car maker has only specified that once it hits the market, one of the production versions Nissan Invitation will aim towards CO2 emissions below 100 grams per Km.

Hyundai i-oniq Concept: Geneva 2012
Hyundai’s i-oniq Concept was unveiled in Geneva today, a vehicle which combines a hybrid powertrain with a shooting brake body style.
The Korean company calls the i-oniq an electric sports hatchback with a range-extending petrol engine, and through this car they say they are exploring new possibilities not only as far as propulsion methods but also in terms of evolving their fluidic sculpture design language.
Designed and developed at Hyundai’s European R&D centre in Germany, the i-oniq measures 4.4 meters in length, and it combines gentle feature lines and muscular surface treatment in an aesthetic and functional body shape.

Vatch 2012 Mercedes SLK 350
We put the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on hold for a second because we need to tell you about Vath’s tuning program for the 2012 Mercedes SLK 350.
The program is dubbed the R172 and it enhances Mercedes’s new small roadster via ‘delicate adjustment’ of the V35 engine electronics and increase of the Vmax. These methods enable the 3.5-litre engine fitted on the SLK 350 to produce 330 HP (230 kW) and 390 Nm of torque, while the car’s new top speed is 269 Km/h.

Lotus Exige S Roadster: Geneva 2012
The new Lotus Exige S Roadster is among the many new models being exhibited at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show these days.
The car is described as “more raw than a Japanese tasting menu” and it combines the open air driving experience with the power produced by a supercharged 3.5-litre V6 engine, (in this case we are talking about 350 PS and 400 Nm of torque).

Maserati GranTurismo Sport – Photos and Specs
As the 2012 Geneva Motor Show has kicked off, Italian automaker Maserati has published new photos with the GranTurismo Sport and told us what this new model is capable of in terms of performance.
The new GrandTurismo Sport replaces the GranTurismo S and comes with a 4.7-litre V8 under its beautifully shaped metal sheets, capable of developing 460 HP (338 kW) and 520 Nm of peak torque.This engine is coupled to an lectro actuated gearbox featuring MC Shift technology which helps the car rocket from 0 to 100 Km/h in 4.7 seconds and achieve a maximum speed of 300 Km/h.

Volkswagen Amarok Canyon Concept
Volkswagen has premiered the Amarok Canyon Concept in Geneva today, a vehicle customised for ‘freestyle kayaking’ that wants to illustrate just how versatile the Amarok pickup is.
“We are using this extreme concept to illustrate one of the many diverse uses of the Amarok. By tuning its design to an extreme sport, we are bringing the original DNA of the Amarok into focus”.
The vehicle is taller (+40mm with the body lift kit, +85 mm when the big AT tyres are included) and wider than the regular version Amarok, plus it features a three-layer, bright orange paint finish, auxiliary headlights mounted on the roof, colour-contrasting underbody protection and two electrically deployed tread plates.

Morgan Electric Plus E Concept: Geneva 2012
Among the British brands attending at this year’s Geneva Motor Show there is also Morgan who will exhibit the Plus E Concept in the Swiss capital.
The Plus E is an electric sportscar based on the Plus 8 which was designed in collaboration with British technology specialists, Zytek and Radshape, through which Morgan wants to test market reaction before possibly taking it into production.
