Toyota’s new commercial from GT86 has been banned in the UK because it “condoned dangerous driving”.
As Toyota is fully aware that a British law forbids that kind of advertising, the spot, named “The Real Deal”, it presents a fictional world. Despite this, the commercial has been banned in the United Kingdom because it might “encourage motorists to drive irresponsibly” and also because it “condoned dangerous driving.”

2013 Toyota RAV4 – first teaser video of the fourth generation

Toyota recalls 2.8 million vehicles worldwide
Bad news for Toyota fans around the world. The Japanese manufacturer announced a recall of 2.77 million vehicles worldwide for steerinf and water pump problems. The recall affects 496,000 vehicles in Europe, 670,000 vehicles in the United States and 1.5 million vehicles in Japan. More than half of the vehicles in the recall are in Japan, making this Toyota’s biggest single recall in its home market.

2013 Mercedes A-Class already received 90.000 orders
2013 Mercedes A-Class continues to be a hit across the compact segment. The Stuttgart-based manufacturer has now a real competitor for the Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series. According to Dieter Zetsche, Mercedes CEO, the new A-Class managed to attract already 90.000 customers. A good job that will reflect in final annual sales. Mercedes will increase global auto sales by 5 percent this year from last year’s record of 1.28 million. Mercedes aims to double deliveries of Mercedes and Smart vehicles to about 2.6 million by 2020.
