Vauxhall introduces the all-new 1.6 CDTI Ecotec
Vauxhall continues the renewal of its powertrain portfolio with an all-new four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine. The second family of new downsized power units to be introduced after the petrol 1.6-litre SIDI ECOTEC, the 1.6-litre CDTI ECOTEC diesels will replace existing 1.7-litre engines and certain lower powered versions of the 2.0-litre range.

2014 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line and Touareg R-Line, on stage at NAIAS
Volkswagen announced it will offer the R-Line derivative on two additional models for the U.S. market. Joining the CC R-Line and recently introduced Beetle R-Line coupe, the Tiguan R-Line and Touareg R-Line will be added to the Volkswagen line-up for model year 2014.

New Shelby Ford Focus ST flexes its muscles in Detroit
Shelby is a legend among American tuners and now they decided to show some magic on the 2012 Ford Focus ST. According to the officials, this is for the first time in the last 30 years when the company modifies a hot hatch. The new Shelby Ford Focus ST was revealed in the 2013 North American International Auto Show and it will be limited to 500 models year. The price announced by the tuner is 14.995 dollars, not including the car itself.
Skoda Octavia vRS will hit the market this summer
The Czech car maker Skoda has confirmed that during this summer the new Octavia vRS will go on sale. The new performance version of the best-seller car in Skoda family will arrive in hatchback and estate versions. Under the hood, the customers can choose from two different engines. For the petrolheads, the Czech car maker will offer the 217 bhp turbocharged engine, the same unit as the forthcoming VW Golf GTI. The diesel lovers will probably get the 2.0 liter TDI engine that can deliver 178 bhp.

Yesterday, the Korean car maker Kia has unveiled the 2014 Cadenza at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show. Today, Asian automaker has published the first official promo of its sedan. Under the hood there is a 3.3 liter GDI V6 engine that offers 293 bhp (218 kW) and 255 lb-ft (345 Nm) of torque. The power is sent to the front wheel thanks to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2014 Kia Cadenza rolls into Detroit
The Korean car maker Kia has unveiled at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show the 2014 Cadenza. The new Asian model is designed to battle with the Buick LaCrosse and Toyota Avalon. The premium model comes with a tiger nose front fascia, plenty of chrome accessories, LED taillights and dual exhaust system. On the cabin there are leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and 12 speaker Infinity audio system.
