2013 Volkswagen XL1 production version revealed

Volkswagen Up! Hybrid will use the XL1 power-train
The German car maker Volkswagen has announced that they will use the XL1 hybrid power train for the upcoming Up! Hybrid. The new city model is due to debut in two years. As you know Volkswagen has announced that the XL1 will debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and will be the very economical model. The XL1 has a two-cylinder 0.8 liter TDI engine with 47 hp and a 27 hp electric motor powered by a 5.5 kWh battery.
