The latest generation of the Range Rover has been a success and now the spy photographers have succeeded to catch in their lens the upcoming 2014 Range Rover Sport.

The British model has been spied during cold weather testing. The 2014 Range Rover Sport is scheduled to go on sale later this year and it will probably get an Evoque look. This could mean that the new Sport version will come with an aggressive front line, a two-bar grille and revised headlight. There also will be some new taillights, a tailgate spoiler and, of course, a sloping roofline.

Under the hood we will see the same engines from the regular Range Rover. The entry level will come with the 3.0 liter LR-TDV6 diesel engine that can deliver 255 hp (190 kW) and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. Another option will be the 4.4 liter diesel LR-SDV8 that will come with 335 hp (250 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm).

For the petrol lovers Range Rover Sport will have the 5.0 liter LR-V8 with 375 hp (280 kW) and 376 lb-ft (510 Nm). The most powerful version will be a supercharged variant of the same engine that could deliver 504 hp (376 kW) and 461 lb-ft (625 Nm) of torque.
