Every petrol-head and automotive enthusiast is waiting the unveiling of the Nissan GT-R Nismo. According to the latest report, the Japanese model will be able to sprint from stand still to 60 mph (95 km/h) in just 2 seconds. 

This information was published by AutoExpress. An Nissan insider have told that during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed Nismo has come with a GT-R that was capable of doing the 0 to 60 mph sprint in just 2 seconds. 

This performance can be done only if the car weight was reduced and the power was increased. The same source said that the upcoming Nissan GT-R Nismo will feature the same V6 3.8 liter twin-turbo unit which will develop 570 horsepower.

The new special Japanese model is being developed in collaboration with the guys from Williams Advanced Engineering. 


"You’d be surprised at how much room for improvement there is. Where you expect it’s all been tuned to the maximum, it’s actually easy to make big gains", said one of the Williams engineers.
