Ford has some big plans for the electric line-up. Of course, now we only have the Mustang Mach-E and the F-150 Lightning, but if you are a big EV fan you’re in for a treat.

A couple of weeks ago, the Dearborn manufacturer has announced that there will be made two different divisions that will develop specific models. There is the Ford Model E – which will develop electric cars – and Ford Blue – which will continue with combustion engine cars.

Now, the American car manufacturer has announced some plans for the future electric line-up. And the first that got into our attention is the next Puma EV.

I’m pretty sure you know the small crossover that was 2021 Ford’s best selling passenger vehicle in Europe. It is a big step for the Puma, and the announce that it will have a fully electric versions is a good one.

The future Puma EV (I don’t know if this will be the oficial name) will be produced in Romania alongside the combustion engined versions. It will be launched in 2024, and unofficial we can say that it will use the same electric powertrain that Ford Otosan (a Turkish joint-venture) is currently developing for the new generation Transit Custom.
