A few days ago we announced you that Ford is working on a hardcore version of the current Focus RS. Named (unofficial) Focus RS500, the model has caught by the spy photographers. 

According to our sources, the new Ford Focus RS500 will come with the same 2,3 liter EcoBoost engine, but this time the unit will deliver more power than the current 350 hp & 350 lb-ft. 

More than that, the new Focus RS500 will feature some carbon fiber body components in order to reduce the total weight of the car. The suspensions and the braking system will be improved for more dynamic properties.

According to the same rumors, the upcoming Ford Focus RS500 will be able to run the not to 100 km/h run in just 4,0 seconds which is 0,7 seconds faster than the standard Focus RS.
