Ford unveiled the F-150 Lightning, which is the electric variant of the best selling vehicle in America in the last 40 years.
And boy, oh, boy. The car is already a hit, judging by the fact that Ford received 20,000 reservations in just 12 hours after the presentation of the car.
This is big even for Ford, because we are speaking about an electric pickup truck and not a combustion engine one.
As you may have read, Ford is taking Lightning refundable reservations for $100 on its website. The base price is 39,974 USD, but don’t forget that you can get some incentives for purchasing an electric car.
The deliveries of the new Ford F-150 Lightning will start in 2022.
