Dacia Spring is Romania car manufacturer’s first electric car. It is based on the Chinese Renault City K-Ze and it will also be built in China.

But this time it was made for European customers. So there are some extra safety features and, of course, extra interior gadgets. The car was launched in October 2020 and now the pre-sales are on.

In France, the Dacia Spring will have a price tag of 16,990 Euros. In Romania, it will be a couple of hundred Euros cheaper and it will be sold in two different trim levels: Comfort and Comfort Plus.

No matter what trim you choose, the car will have a 45 horsepower electric motor and a battery pack of 26 kWh. It will be good for about 230 kilometers WLTP range. Also, Dacia says the Spring will have even more range if you drive it only in town: 305 kilometers of range based on the WLTP City cycle.
