Autocar has managed to get their hands on the Citroen Survolt, and shot a review video after testing the French concept around the Thruxton track in the UK.
The Citroen Survolt is 3.85 m long, 1.87 m wide and 1.2 m tall and power comes from two electric motor generating 300 BHP which are linked to two Lithium-Ion batteries. The batteries alone weight 280 Kg, but extensive use of carbon fiber has kept the car’s overall weight just little over 1 ton, which means the Citroen Survolt has a better power-to-wight ratio than the Tesla.
The Citroen Survolt takes 5.0 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph while the maximum speed it can reach is 162 mph.
