After a series of shots with the car in United Arab Emirates, Aston Martin finally made light regarding its special model for the Middle East market.
The British manufacturer uvneiled today the new Lagonda Taraf, a super saloon, the latest in a line of saloons revered worldwide as ”the finest of fast cars”.
Design
The new supercar is based on the brand’s flexible VH architecture and draws inspiration from one of the most iconic Lagonda model: the William Towns-designed Lagonda of 1976.
The 2015 Lagonda Taraf features many of the same engineering techniques seen in modern Aston Martin sports cars such as the use of carbon fibre body panels. The car will be hand-built by the finest craftsmen and women at Aston Martin’s manufacturing facilities in Gaydon, Warwickshire, in a dedicated building previously given over to the creation of the One-77 hypercar.
Engine
No information on the engine, but the Brits should be using a 6.0-liter V12 engine, delivering aproximately 600 hp, enough for those clients who want a super fast saloon.
