Abarth is the Fiat in-house tuner who over time it managed to releases a few exceptional piece of art. Today, Marco Magnanini, Abarth’s European chief, has told in an interview for MSN Cars, that his company is thinking of a hotter 500L.

In these conditions, the new model from Italy will probably feature the 1.4 liter turbocharged MultiAir petrol unit that can deliver 180 horsepower and 270 Nm peek of torque. If the Abarth 500L will see the green light it will become a real threat for the old Mini Countryman Cooper S.

"The 500 family will offer us options. We want to take our brand values to other cars. In future it is possible" said Magnanini in the interview.
