As you may have read, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is one of the most loved PHEV in the world. The model will now be a part of the Ukraine national police guard. 

According to Autoblog, 651 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV were bought and will be used by the Ukraine national police force. 

The news come on Twitter and it was linked to a statement with more details. As part of a plan emerging from the Kyoto Protocol, the Natspolitsiya (as the police force is called) are ditching their aging, Russian-made UAZ and AvtoVAZ vehicles for the greener vehicles. 

"So, gentlemen, Ukrainian policemen! You will receive 651 new and unique modern powerful eco-friendly hybrid crossover Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. The people of Ukraine hopes that you will be worthy of this innovation! Serve with honor!", said Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov.

As you already know, the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine and two electric motors. Its 12-kWh battery provides about 22 miles of real-world, all-electric driving range.
