The 2012 BMW M5 and its 552 bhp do not necessary need a slippery surface, like lets say a beach in Wales, UK in order to show us some nice drift move, in-fact a place covered in tarmac would be much more appropriate, but anyway here is what the automaker’s UK division created as a good luck wish for the British athletes competing in the rapidly approaching London 2012 Olympics.
The video could have been a little longer as well, but enough complaining, just hit the jump and check out yet another way of enjoying the new M5’s Active M differential with torque vectoring.
When it perform on asphalt and not sand, the 2012 BMW M5 will get from 0 to 62 mph in a blistering 4.4 seconds while its top speed is limited to 155 mph.
