Volkswagen has officially revealed the all-new Passat Alltrack ahead of its international debut set for 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the event which will kick-off on March 3rd.

Exterior

The new Volkswagen Passat Alltrack is based on the break version of the new Passat and features a 27.5 mm increased ride height. In addition, we see new plastic body cladding, front and rear protections and a different design to improve the car’s approach and departure angles when cruising on bumpy roads.

In addition, we see new stainless steel plates in order to protect the car’s vulnerable components. As you expect, the new Passat Alltrack comes in standard with a 4MOTION on-demand all-wheel drive system which helps you a lot if rolling on bumpy roads. The system uses a Haldex coupling and an XDS+ limited slip diff. It has an Off-Road function that modifies the braking input, throttle response and the hill and descent systems are improved.
