Renault is planning to launch a new range of budget cars. According to our colleagues from Les Echos, the first car which will be part of the new brand will be revealed next summer. 

The same report says that the range will consists of four models with prices starting around 3,500 Euros and the cars will be based on a new platform. Named CAMM, the architecture was developed in co-operation with Nissan and Renault is planning to reveal a sedan, a hatchback, an SUV and a 7-seater model. 

According to the same sources the next budget lineup cars will be made in Tanger, Morocco and all the vehicles will reach the European market. The first model will be offered in India from next summer, while the South American countries will follow in the upcoming years.
