Technical details with the Audi S7 are starting to surface, and according to the British media the sportier version of the A7 will features a new twin turbo V8 under its skin.
Thanks to this new 4.0-litre V8 (co-developed with Bentley), the 2011 Audi S7 (which will debut next year), will pack 550 BHP and the car will be offered as an all-wheel-drive.
The same source ir reporting that the German automaker is also working on the Audi RS7 version, and in this case power levels are expected to reach 580 BHP, coming from the same 5.2-litre V10 plant fitted in the R8.
The Audi RS7 will send its ponies to work via a new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
