New 2018 Jaguar F-Type Overview
The Jaguar F-Type receives multiple updates for 2018. A new tablet-style Touch Pro infotainment system is standard, with online services, intelligent navigation functions and ReRun app that combines video from the driver’s GoPro with real-time vehicle performance data. Full-LED headlamps and trim-specific front bumpers are new. Lighter-weight slimline seats provide improved comfort. The 400 SPORT edition is available this year only, in both rear-wheel drive and AWD, featuring an uprated chassis with Super Performance braking, distinctive 20-inch wheels, and Configurable Dynamics. Its supercharged V6 puts out 339 lb.-ft. of torque and 400 hp. The new R-Dynamic trim, with a supercharged 380-hp V6, and offered with manual or automatic transmission. The base trim is broken out between supercharged 340-hp V6 and 380-hp trims. The S trim designation is dropped. SVR and F-Type R versions return. All F-Types are available in convertible and coupe bodystyles.
