Volvo and Tesla have signed an agreement for the North America, and the electric cars sold by the Swedish manufacturer will be able to use the Supercharger charging stations.

This agreement will start in 2024, and until than, Volvo will switch from the CCS1 to Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) charging connector. Also, the current electric Volvo models already sold in North America will be able to charge at Supercharger with a NACS to CCS1 adapter.

Volvo isn’t the first manufacturer to do this deal with Tesla. Recently, Ford, General Motors, and Rivian signed these kind of agreements with the US electric car manufacturer.
