Je Design is presenting a widebody kit conversion for all Volkswagen Touareg models, including the Touareg R-Line.
The
kit gives the German SUV a striking appearance and it consists of
elements such as a new grille, custom spoilers, wider wheel arches, an
aggressive looking tailgate panel and a rear apron insert. All these
carry a price tag of 4,641 Euro and can be accompanied by a 595 Euro
dual exhaust system featuring stainless steel end pipes plus Je Design’s
22 inch aluminium wheels wrapped in high-performance tires (5,190
Euro).
The latest generation Volkswagen Touareg can further get
enhanced with a wheel spacer kit (priced at 409 Euro which fills the
extended arches by 30 mm at the front and 40 mm at the rear) while in
terms of performance Je Design is mentioning an increase that will take
the 4.2-litre TDI from 340 hp (250 kW) and 800 Nm of torque to 410 hp
(302 kW) and 930 Nm.
Thanks to this power boost the Touareg will
be able to dismiss the 0 to 100 Km/h acceleration time in 5.8 seconds
and will also be able to reach a new top speed of 269 Km/h instead of
242 Km/h. The engine upgrade costs 2,999 Euro and it includes a one yar
warranty for the engine, turbocharger, transmission and powertrain.
Finnaly
for an extra 1,428 Euro, Je Design can fit the Touareg with an
electronic suspension module that lowers the car’s ride height by 35
mm, while at the interior the tuner has applied Alcantara pretty much
everywhere, and by that we mean the dashboard, door panels and the roof
liner.
