We don’t know if Volkswagen was inspired by Ken Block’s GYMKHANA videos but apparently the automaker decided to promote the Volkswagen Golf VI GTI through a clip that presents the German hatch in a series of drifts.
The Volkswagen Golf VI GTI is powered by a 2.0-litre engine that generates 210 horsepower (155 kW) and 280Nm of torque at at 1,800 rpm, which mean 6.9 seconds are needed when sprinting from 0 to 100 Km/h while maximum speed stops at 240 Km/h.
The Volkswagen Golf VI GTI puts power to the ground through a standard 6-speed manual gearbox and fuel consumption is 7.4-litres of fuel per 100 Km/h.
