The German automaker has published a short video with their Volkswagen Golf24, which will compete in the 2011 Nurburgring 24 hour endurance race.
This new Nurburgring challenger has evolved from the 300 HP and front wheel drive setup seen on the 2007 competitor, into a 440 HP little monster, which also delivers 540 Nm of torque via a six-speed transmission that shifts through steering wheel mounted paddles.
Power comes from a 2.5-litre five-cylinder turbo engine, plus the Volkswagen Golf24 is now all-wheel-drive.
For a few scenes with the Volkswagen Golf24 in action on the Vallelunga racetrack in Italy, follow the jump and hit play.
