The German carmaker Audi has confirmed that it will come at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show with the RS5 Cabriolet and with the 2014 R8 facelift.

The 2014 Audi R8 facelift features a more aggressive and sporty look thanks to its new LED headlights, hexagonal grille and revised side mirrors.

The power for the entry-level comes from a 4.2 liter FSI V8 engine that can develop 430 hp (316 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to the new S tronic transmission, the Ingolstadt-based supercar can sprint from stand still to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 186 mph.

The Audi R8 V10 has a 5.2 liter FSI V10 engine that can develop 525 hp (386 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 second and the top speed is clocked at 195 mph.

The last, but not the least is the R8 V10 Plus. This new version comes with the same 5.2 liter FSI V10 engine who was tweaked to produce 550 hp (404 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to this power upgrade, the German supercar can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 second and has a top speed of 196 mph.

The RS5 Cabriolet comes with a naturally aspired 4.2 liter FSI V8 engine that can develop 450 hp (331 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque. It can accelerate from stand still to 60 mph in 4.9 second and has a top speed of 174 mph.

Both German models will go on sale in the United States this spring and pricing will be announced closer to launch.
