Apart from the road going Exige, the Brits from Lotus have also brought the Exige R-GT in Frankfurt.

The Lotus Exige R-GT is the car with which the automaker wants to get back to rallying, more than 30 years after it achieved the World Rally Championship victory in a Talbot Sumbeam.

Group Lotus’ Director of Motorsport Claudio Berro said that “With the new R-GT rules in rally, it’s a very interesting time for us to return to the sport. Naturally our approach this time around will be different to when we won the championship with Talbot three decades ago but I think our philosophy is definitely the same, we want to compete and ultimately we want to win. Our new rally car, the Exige R-GT is a dream come true for those who are passionate about GT racing – this will be their car.”

The journalists from teknikensvarld.se are the first lucky ones to test drive the Koenigsegg Agera R, and this should come as no surprise as it was only natural for the Swedish based supercar maker to hand the car over to their conationals for its first review.

Of-course the downside is that we do not understand Swedish, but we do however understand that the 5.0-litre twin turbo V8 plant powering the Agera R and developing 1115 HP (820 kW) and 1200 Nm (885 lb-ft) sounds like a rocket.

The new Lamborghini Aventador might be among the main highlights in Geneva this year, but the new Koenigsegg Agera R, for which the Swedish supercar maker has revealed photos and details during the weekend, will definitely get a lot of attention as well.

Its not like the Agera, which was first seen at the 80th edition Geneva Motor Show was not powerful enough, developing 910 HP (669 kW) and 1100 Nm of torque from its 4.7-litre V8, but why stop there when you things can get improved even further, right?

A second concept that awaits its unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show, apart from the new Captur is the Renault R Space which has already been spotted by an onlooker in Lisbon, Portugal.

The Renault R Space Concept is a compact MPV which could compete with models like the Honda Verso S in case it gets the green light for production, and its platform is most probably the same found on the Megane.
