Even if Toyota will be building a new Supra with the help of BMW, the cooperation with Subaru won`t be abandoned.
The two Japanese manufacturers will continue to develop a new generation of the current coupe models: the GT86 and the BRZ. Subaru confirmed that it a next generation BRZ is in the plan and will also be built with Toyota.
The information was made public by Yasuyuki Yoshinaga, president of Fuji Heavy Industries, the parent company of Subaru. Yoshinaga said that it`s not going to be only one generation of BRZ, ending the numerous rumors that gave BRZ few chances of surviving after this generation ends.
Until we see a completely new BRZ, Subaru will work with its partners to unveil a facelift for the model, expected next year. It will have the same changes as on its brothers> the Toyota GT86 and Scion FR-S.
