SKODA UK has signed double Olympian Ed Clancy as a brand ambassador. The partnership with the pro cyclist, who won gold in the team pursuit at last summer’s Olympic Games, will help to strengthen the manufacturer’s association with the sport.

This two-year deal cements SKODA UK’s long-standing association with cycling, which already includes sponsorship of Tour of Britain, Prudential RideLondon and pro teams Rapha Condor-JLT and Matrix Fitness.

SKODA UK will use its sponsorship activity to promote the benefits of cycling and to encourage more British families to take up the sport. SKODA UK enjoys an outstanding reputation among cyclists, and looks to continue to build its support of the sport over the coming years.

The manufacturer provides vehicles to the Tour de France and the Tour of Britain, as well as other major cycling races across the world.
