Back in September, Alfa Romeo unveiled the new Giulia GTA. It is a special version of the Giulia QV which comes with a pretty special name. The GTA represents the ultimate expression of the Italian car manufacturer’s personality.

The current Giulia GTA is built at Fiat Chrysler’s Pomigliano d’Arco facility and some lucky men from Motor1 have had the chance to see how the new model is built.

The lightweight sedan is built on the Giulia QV architecture but it is 100 kilograms lighter while the 2.9 liter V6 engine delivers 540 horsepower.

There are also some improvements on the design side together with some novelties inside. We see only two seats with racing harnesses, Alcantara upholstery and Lexan windows replacing the side and rear glass.
