The guys from Motor-Talk have published the first pictures and details about the new 2014 BMW 4-Series Coupe. On the outside, the production version of the Bavarian model looks just like the concept that was unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year.

In case you forget, the new 4-Series Coupe is used to replace the current 3-Series Coupe, Convertible and Grand Coupe models. Inside the cabin, we see a more family orientated sedan.

The 4-Series Coupe has 4.640 mm in length, 1.830 mm in width, 1.360 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2.810 mm. For the moment, the BMW will give only three engines. The first one is the 2.0 liter diesel unit that can develop 181 horsepower.

The second choice will be the petrol 2.0 liter unit that can output 242 HP. the range topping model is the 435i. It comes with the 3.0 twin-turbo petrol unit that can produce 306 horsepower. All the engine choices can be ordered with a six speed manual gearbox or with an eight speed automatic transmission.

There are also a few pictures with the 435i dressed in M Sport package. It has all the exterior parts made by M Division, but there is no info about a power upgrade.
