Rolls-Royce will unveil a new generation Ghost this year and the British car manufacturer has started a teasing campaign for it. The officials have already released one teaser picture and three short videos that reveal some of the details.

In the latest video, Rolls-Royce says that the V12 6.75 liter engine will be unnoticed inside the cabin. Why? Just because the car will feature more than 220 pounds (100 kilograms) of sound-absorbing material.

In addition to this, the car will come with double-glazed windows with a clear composite center sheet and also with some special tires lined with lightweight acoustic insulation foam. But most of all, the sedan’s aluminum-rich architecture contributes to a quieter ride.

“The extraordinary acoustic quality of the new Ghost is the result of significant engineering developments and fastidious attention to detail, but it really is underpinned by the marque’s proprietary aluminum architecture. There is simply no way we could have created such an acoustically refined environment using a steel platform”, said Tom Davis-Reason, new Ghost Acoustic Engineering Lead, comments.
