The French journalists from Option Auto went to Dortmund, Germany with the purpose of test driving the most powerful version Porsche 911 ever made, the Porsche 911 GT2 9FF GTurbo 1200, which packs no less than an incredible 1,200 HP and 1,100 Nm of torque.

On the extensive list of modifications that had to be taken in order to dial up performance at this insane levels, there is the increased engine capacity from 3.8-litres to 4.0-litres, bigger turbochargers, titanium connection rods, 9ff cylinders, pistons, valve springs and camshafts, and 130 mm intercoolers.

Accelerating from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 Km/h) in the Porsche 911 GT2 9FF GTurbo 1200 takes a blistering 2.8 seconds and its top speed is 248 mph.

When compared to the stock model, the Porsche 911 GT2 9FF GTurbo 1200 which is by the way street legal, is also lighter, while the interior misses the traditional amenities in favor of a roll cage, racing seats, lightweight windows and carbon doors.
