Peugeot will unveil at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed (the event scheduled for June 27 – 29) a special version of its 208 model. Named Peugeot 208 GTi 30th Anniversary, the special version will be unveiled in the Supercar & First Glimpse class of the event. 

In addition, Peugeot has announced that the dynamic demonstrations of the 208 GTi 30th Anniversary will be available in the Moving Motor Show showroom and on the Hillclimb on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

In the teaser picture, we see the British flag under the front grille, along a GTi "number plate". According to rumors, the new special version will feature a small power increaser of the engine.

As you already know, the Peugeot 208 GTi features a 1.6 liter turbo petrol engine rated at 200 horsepower and 275 Nm peak of torque. As a result, the French hothatch can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 225 km/h.
