We’ve seen the upcoming Hyundai Veloster caught on tape a while back, now we’ve got new info regarding the automaker’s first ‘utility coupe’ which is expected to debut at the Detroit Motor Show next year.

Initially introduced as a concept at the Seoul Motor Show in 2007, the production version Hyundai Veloster will feature a 2+1 door layout, which means the aspect of a normal 3-door hatch, with two elongated doors at the front and also two two smaller doors for passenger at the back.

The first teaser images showcasing the Korean automaker’s new Hyundai i40W have hit the web, and with this model, which was created by the company’s design studio in Germany Hyundai is obviously interested in increasing its stake in the station wagon market in Europe.

The Hyundai i40W which measures 4.77 meters in length, 1.81 meters in width and has a wheelbase of 2.72 meters is expected to ba launched with a range of diesel and petrol engines which will probably include the 2.0-litre 103 kW petrol and the new 2.0-litre CRDIs with numerous power levels.

After seeing shots with the exterior, photos with the 2011 Chrysler 300C interior have started to appear online ahead of the sedan’s official unveiling.

As you can see the 2011 Chrysler 300C interior looks more refined, with a modern dashboard and center console design, featuring the automaker’s new generation multimedia system that also incorporates a 8.4 inch display.

In a second review video coming our way courtesy of Autocar, we get to see how does the Aston Martin Rapide racer behave on track in comparison to the road going version.

By featuring the normal safety modifications necessary for racing, removing much of the interior, and replacing the glass windows with plastic, the Aston Martin Rapide racer weights with around 500 Kg less than the toad car, while in terms of suspension things are pretty much the same.

Autocar has taken the 2011 Citroen C4 for a drive, telling us what they think about the new French hatchback.

The model shown in this review video is the 2011 Citroen C4 2.0 HDi Exclusive, which means pricing starts at 21,495 GBP and that under the bonnet there is a 4-cylinder 1997cc turbodiesel engine producing 148 bhp @ 3,750 rpm and 218 lb-ft of torque @ 1,750 rpm. The 2011 Citroen C4 2.0 HDi channels its juice to the wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission, and when accelerating from 0 to 62 mph the car needs 8.6 seconds.

More motorsport news, this time coming from Porsche who introduced their new ‘weapon’ for 2011 GT racing.

We’re talking about the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR 2011 which comparing to the 2010 version comes with aerodynamic improvements, and a 4.0-litre 6-cylinder boxer engine that is now able to deliver 455 HP (355 kW) @ 7,800 rpm.

The Porsche 911 GT3 RSR 2011 sends power to the wheels through a six-speed gearbox with sequential jaw-type shift, and it also features an improved engine management system, a redesigned exhaust system and a modified air intake housing.

The new generation Audi R18 Le Mans prototype have been unveiled over the weekend, and as opposed to the previous models (the R8, R10 and R15 Plus), Audi’s motorsport division has abandoned the open-top design.

The Audi R18 2011 features a closed canopy, which means improved aerodynamics and reduced driver fatigue, so it will be interesting and see how will next year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans competition will look like.

In the latest episode from FifthGear we get to see the show’s professional driver trio – Fiff Needell, Jason Platto and Ben Collins perform a three stage comparison test with the Audi TT RS, the Porsche Boxter S and the Nissan 370Z.

First is the agility/maneuverability test followed by a drifting challenge and finally the flying lap. In the end Tiff Needell and his Audi TT RS proved the most agile at low speeds, while Jason Platto scored points at going sideways and also managed to be the fastest around the track in his Porsche Boxter S.

Steinbach based German tuner Cam Shaft has approached the Cadillac CTS-V on which it applied a series of exterior changes, and also fitted a compressor kit for extra power.

The Cam Shaft Cadillac CTS-V has lost all of its original chrome parts at the exterior (25 in total), as the tuner has deplated them and painted them in matt black, including the wheels. These elements are in contrast with the matt-white body finish, and in terms of performance the Cam Shaft Cadillac CTS-V now features a kit developed by Wait4Me which includes optimized engine software and a larger air intake together with increased boost pressure (+0.4 bar).

Sketched photos with the 2012 Mitsubishi Colt have recently been revealed, as the automaker has talked about its plans of making the upcoming generation Colt a global model.

Production for the 2012 Mitsubishi Colt will take place at a new plant in Thailand, with 150,000 units expected to get assembled yearly, with its capacity extended to 200,000/year starting from 2013.

Scheduled to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the 2012 Mitsubishi Colt will come equipped with fuel efficient, normally aspirated 1.0 and 1.2-litre engines (plus a 1.2-litre turbo) and pricing for the new small car has been rumored to start at around 8,500 GBP.
