Cadillac Ciel Concept Unveiled
GM has unveiled the Cadillac Ciel Concept at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Ciel is a French word for ‘sky’ and if refers to the fact that this car is a 4-door 4-passenger convertible with a wheelbase of 3,175 mm and measuring 5,174 m in length, 1,968 m in width, and 1,270 m in height.
The Cadillac Ciel Concept features an all-wheel-drive power-train with a longitudinally mounted 3.6-litre V6 mounted at the front. This engine produces 425 HP (317 kW) and 583 Nm (430 lb-ft) of torque and spins the wheels through a a hybrid transmission with low-speed all-electric drive.
2013 Lexus GS Unveiled
Lexus has finally released official photos and details with the 2013 Lexus GS, as the new generation sedan premiered at the 2011 edition of Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this weekend.
Inspired by the LG-Gh concept showcased in Newy York earlier this year, the 2013 Lexus GS comes with a newly designed grille, headlights which incorporate LEDs, a dual exhaust system integrated in the diffuser and a luxurious interior highlighted by premium materials such as leather, wood and aluminium.
2012 Mercedes SLK55 AMG – Photos and Details
Daimler has officially presented the 2012 Mercedes SLK55 AMG during this weekend, right before the small performance roadster’s premiere in Frankfurt in a couple of weeks.
Characterized by the ‘usual’ series of aggressively styled body parts (new front bumper, side sills, rear diffuser, boot lid lip and sporty exhaust) the 2012 Mercedes SLK55 AMG also features a set of multi-spoke design black wheels and various accents and sports seats inside the cabin.
Volkswagen Up Production Version
The German car maker has unveiled during the weekend the production version Volkswagen Up. This small city car measuring 3.54 m in length and 1.64 m in width is scheduled to premiere at the 2011 IAA in Frankfurt next month so here are some key details about it.
With power provided by a newly developed 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol rated at 60 HP or 75 HP, the Volkswagen Up features a front wheel drive-train and depending on the engine, it can either return 55.6 US mpg (4.2-litres per 100 Km) or 54.7 US mpg (4.3-litres per 100 Km).

Autocar has recently reviewed a car that costs only 29,000 GBP which can lap most race circuits faster than most Ferraris.
We’re talking about the Ginerra G40R, a car with racing heritage, but built for the road and designed to offer pure fun when behind the wheel. Some of the thinks that characterize the Ginetta G40R are a great driving position, a nice steering wheel and ‘three perfectly locatedpedals’ plus a Ford sourced Duratorq engine which can deliver around 180 up to 190 HP.
2012 Porsche 911 Leaked Photos
Here are the first official photos showing the new generation 2012 Porsche 911 (991) in all its glory. The photos have just leaked online, and reveal everything about Stuttgart’s latest performance car, and by that we mean both the exterior and the interior.
The 2012 Porsche 911 is bound to premiere at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in a couple of weeks, and as we previously mentioned, this new model is longer and its basic engine has been downsized from 3.6 to 3.4-litres. The power level on this new 3.4-litre unit will be 350 horses while the Carrera S version, which is expected to be fitted with a 3.8-litre engine will most likely develop 400 HP.
Audi Urban Concept Spyder preview
After offering a preview of the Sportback variant, the German automaker is doing the same thing all over again and showcases a few sketches with the spyder version Audi Urban Concept.
Unlike the hardtop model which features a tailgate that slides to the rear, the Audi Urban Concept Spyder has doors that open to the top, and a wraparound windscreen, while the rest of the car remains the same.
Mercedes SLK 250 CDI
In the first phase of the SLK 250 CDI sales will be offered only with the 7G-TRONIC PLUS, while the manual six grafts will debut in the second quarter of 2012. The standard does not lack the Start & Stop, while the roof MAGIC SKY CONTROL is provided as an optional sport suspension and electrically adjustable suspension, the latter part of the Dynamic Handling included also a more direct steering and brake torque vectoring. The presentation is scheduled during the Frankfurt Motor Show (15-25 September).
Daimler announces the first ever diesel engine available on the SLK Roadster. The car will be badged as the Mercedes SLK 250 CDI and will make use of the automaker’s 2,143 cc, 4-cylinder plant already available on other models like the S Class or the CLS.
2012 Lexus GS leaked
Leaked photos with the new generation 2012 Lexus GS have hit the web thanks to a Chinese site that published photos with the upcoming mid-size sedan captured completely undisguised.
The 2012 Lexus GS will make its first official appearance at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this weekend, and as you can see, many of the features visible on the LF-Gh Hybrid concept from which this production version originates, have been disregarded.
Mazda6 Business Line
The Japanese car maker is launching the Mazda6 Business Line in the UK. The car has 4.5 percent residual points ahead of average and offers its customers the benefits of an enhanced specification list.
The Mazda6 Business Line is based on the 2.2-litre diesel, 5-door hatchback which means its CO2 emissions of 138 grammes per Km place it in the 20 percent benefit-in-kind tax bracket for 2011/12.
