New Citroen DS4 R Leaked
Citroen Racing wanted to keep the new DS4 R a secret until its official unveiling time at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, but thanks to a Czech website we now have a few pictures and details that have certainly ruined the French automaker’s surprise.
It is unknown at this point if the DS4 R is only a concept or a production ready vehicle, but some of the details that capture our atention are its modified bumpers, the more pronounced wheel arches, the reshaped side skirts and the rear diffuser which integrated the dual pipe exhaust system.
BMW M135i Concept to Debut in Geneva
BMW continues to unveil M Performance badged models as we get closer to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
This time we are talking about the BMW M135i Concept which unlike the rest of the vehicles part of the M Performance range, comes with a gasoline engine under its bonnet. This engine is a 3.0-litre straight-six cylinder unit with Twin Power Turbo technology that is expected to channel more than 300 HP to the rear wheels.
2012 Porsche 911 Cabriolet Review
Autoexpress has driven the 2012 Porsche 911 Cabriolet, a model which in its previous generation was described as a car for those who preferred to cruise rather than drive.
With this new 911 Cabriolet however things have changed, because the German automaker has fitted the car with a stiffer and lighter chassis, and have also adopted a new hood design which makes the drop top 911 look as good as the coupe with roof up.
BMW M3 vs X5M Promo
BMW USA is promoting the X5M through a video shot at the Laguna Seca race track. It is here where the German SAV accelerates side by side with the E92 M3, with each model trying to get out of the famous ‘Corkscrew’ corner first.
Who proved to be the quickest? well according to this promo, the BMW X5M due to its 555 HP managed by the xDrive all-wheel-drive system and the Torque Vectoring Rear Differential.
Mercedes SLS AMG 4-door on its way?
We came across a patent filing suggesting that the Mercedes SLS AMG might get a third bodystyle. The German patent filling surfaced online through Autoblog and shows a stretched out SLS AMG with two rear-hinged demi doors and gullwing doors at the front.
The car does not have a fixed B pillar, which is most certainly going to be a challenge in terms of maintaining structural rigidity if this thing goes into production, but overall it’s an unique concept which we haven’t seen before.
These patent images could very well point to a one-off prototype, or who knows, maybe an upcoming competitor for the Aston Martin Rapide and the Porsche Panamera Turbo.
AC Schnitzer 2012 BMW 3 Series Preview
Another tuner who announced its presence at the 82nd edition Geneva Motor Show is AC Schnitzer, a well known German specialist who prefers upgrading BMW and MINI models.
For those who will attend at this year’s event taking place the Swiss capital and will walk by AC Schnitzer’s stand here is what you should expect.
An aerodynamic kit designed for the 2012 BMW 3 Series accompanied by a wheel set that will be suggested in various designs and sizes (from 18 to 20 inch).
Onyx Concept Range Rover Evoque
Onyx Concept has developed a new tuning package for the 5-door version Land Rover Evoque which they now call the Rouge Edition.
The package makes the Evoque look much more aggressive, and this was done by fitting the British crossover with a vented bonnet, redesigned bumpers, bulky wheel arch extensions, muscular side skirts and side elements and a new set of wheels that go hand in hand with the vehicle’s newly created appearance.
ABT Volkswagen up!
ABT has dressed the new Volkswagen up! in a sporty and aggressive outfit just in time for its public premiere at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
The components that have been used to make the up! more stylish are all high quality and very affordable, and they include bright red headlight masks, which also make the car ‘appear stronger and smarter’, red window frames and side skirts, a sporty dual pipe exhaust, as well as mirror caps and red hub covers bearing the ABT logo.

Bentley Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification: Geneva Preview
Bentley is previewing the Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification, “a highly distinctive and sporting interpretation” of their flagship model, something which will be seen in the flesh at the Geneva Motor Show in less than two weeks.
Some of the features that make the Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification more unique include 21 inch two-piece light aluminium wheels wrapped in 265/40 ZR 21 tires, ‘Flying B’ wing vents in polished stainless steel, Diamond-Quilted leather hides applied to the seats and door casings as well as drilled pedals and new finishes for the major controls.
