2013 Renault Talisman Sedan Teaser
Remember Renault’s Samsung badged SM7 sedan for the South Korean market which was first introduced as a concept at the 2011 Seoul Motor Show?
Well apparently the same car will be unveiled by Renault at this year’s edition Beijing Motor Show on April 23rd, but in this case the SM7 name will be replaced by the Talisman moniker.
1000 HP Jeep Grand Cherokee vs R8, GTR and X6M
An interesting video that started to circulate around the Internet last week presents a 1000 HP Jeep Grand Cherokee participating in a number of drag races against lighter and less powerful cars such as the Audi R8 and the GTR but also against an equally sized machine, the X6M.
As we mentioned the 7.2-litre supercharged V8 fitted on the Cherokee SRT8 you’ll see below, produces no less than 1000 HP while the other cars develop 525 HP (stock Audi R8), 850 HP (Switzer tuned Nissan GTR) and 620 HP (BMW X6M with a stage two kit from Evotech).
Volkswagen Passat Alltrack UK Price
UK pricing for the rugged Volkswagen Passat Alltrack has been announced.
This model will arrive in showrooms on May 28, and unlike the regular Passat, this version comes with a raised suspension, 4MOTION four-wheel drive and various body enhancements that offer protection when covering rough terrain.
In the UK the new Passat Alltrack will be available in just one trim level and with two drivetrain options: a 140PS 2.0-litre TDI linked to a 6-speed manual transmission plus a 170 PS 2.0-litre TDI in connection with a 6-speed DSG gearbox.
ABT AS3 2013 Audi A3
The Germans from ABT are among the first to present a tuning proposal for the recently introduced 2013 Audi A3.
In typical ABT fashion the vehicle achieves a new level of style through a number of discrete looking elements such as a new front spoiler that incorporates a small lip, a new front grille, redesigned side skirts and a new rear spoiler.
The ABT AS3 2013 Audi A3 also received two double end mufflers and a set of DR light alloy wheels (available in 18 or 19 inch sizes) which add a touch of sportiness to the compact Bavarian hatch.
2013 Nissan Altima Teased from Behind
We’ve seen the 2013 Nissan Altima from above, we’ve also seen its headlight design, now its time to see what the sedan’s rear end section looks like.
Nissan has published the third video teaser for the new Altima, and hopefully the last before the new model’s official unveiling at the New York Auto Show next month.
2012 SEAT Leon FR+ Supercopa
For 2012 Seat decided to make one of its performance models, the Leon FR+ look even sportier thanks to special edition styling kit dubbed ‘Supercopa’.
The moniker comes from Seat’s successful global one-make race series, while the car has been built by the same engineers at Seat Sport who also nurtured the WTCC title-winning race models.
2013 Kia Sorento Unveiled
Kia’s US built Sorento CUV is entering the third model year, so the automaker decided to refresh things a little by fitting the car is a new front bumper and newly designed 17 inch alloys and also by offering customers the possibility of choosing new equipment and packages.
The new Sorento continues to be available in the LX, EX ans SX trim levels, with the range topping SX also featuring LED taillights and 18 inch alloys in the 2013 MY.
2013 Kia Pro Ceed teaser
Kia has just introduced the new Ceed lineup which consists from the 5-door hatch and the estate versions at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show last week, and is already announcing a new model through a teaser that was published on Kia World.
This third variation is the new generation Kia Pro Ceed and in this case we are talking about a 3-door body style that is expected to premiere at the Paris Motor Show in September and then hit the European market in 2013.
Porsche Panamera GTS Reviewed
Autocar has reviewed the GTS version Porsche Panamera, a vehicle that all Panamera fans should definitely go for in case they have close to 117,000 Euro sitting around.
With the Panamera GTS Porsche has taken all the elements of the Panamera that worked and created an even better version which according to Autocar is also very well priced considering all its specs.
2013 GMC Terrain Denali
GMC has unveiled the 2013 Terrain Denali ahead of its premiere at the 2012 New York Auto Show.
This more upscale Terrain is part of the brands expansion plan, with the automaker stating that his model will also mark the introduction of a new 3.6-litre V6 as a replacement for the current 3.0-litre V6.
This new engine has been certified at 301 HP (224 kW) and 272 lb-ft (369 Nm) of torque, but despite being more powerful, GMC says it expects it to deliver the same economy figures as the outgoing unit, meaning 20.5 mpg combined.
