The interior has been stripped out in order to reduce weight and according to the British car manufacturer, the new McLaren P1 GTR is 50 kilograms (100 pounds) lighter than the street legal model.

Engine

Under the hood, the V8 3.8 liter twin-turbo engine has been modified in order to deliver 800 horsepower, while the electric unit has received a new treatment to deliver 200 HP.
