We have second review video from FifthGear, this time with Tiff Deedell testing the 188,000 GBP Lamborghini Gallardo Performante on on twisty mountain roads.
Here are some facts about the Gallardo Performante : the car packs 10 more HP than the regular Gallardo Spyder, and due to extensive usage of carbon fiber, which includes 13 Kg lighter wheels and even seats that are made from carbon, Lamborghini has managed to make the car 65 Kg lighter than the standard model.
Even though the Gallardo Performante features a slightly clunky flappy paddle gearbox, it can still fly from 0 to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 201 mph. The Italian supercar maker has also droped the four-wheel-drive system in order to make the Gallardo Performante lighter and more competitive with modern day supercars.
Even though the Performante is not as delicate or accurate as some if its direct rivals like the Ferrari 458 Italia or the McLaren MP4 12C, Tiff thinks that Lamborghini has created the noisiest and most exciting Gallardo ever, so follow the jump and see the video below and tell us if you agree.
