This week Lamborghini has achieved an important production milestone. The Italian supercar manufacturer has assembled 5.000 Aventador units. This milestone is pretty impressive judging by the fact that it was achieved in just 55 months.

The 5,000th Aventador is a Roadster version painted in Rosso Bia destined for the Italian market. According to some rumors, this year we should expect to see a facelift for this model and another special edition. As a result, the final production number will be higher.

Another important fact is that Aventador managed to surpass its redecessor in terms of units produced. The Lamborghini Murcielago has been retired after 4,099 units made in nine years.
