According to Autocar, Jaguar is considering expanding its model range by adding a crossover SUV.
The company’s new boss, Adrian Hallmark said that "We need a crossover and we need to stop being a saloon-based company" and he also stated that four wheel drive sedans will play a role in strengthening sales across USA and certain European markets.
We also found out that the XF estate will definitely make it into production and this version will represent a fifth from total sales generated by the XF model range.
The next generation XF saloon is expected to arrive in 2015 based on a lightweight architecture which is part of Jaguar’s ‘future DNA’, and as you can immagine most of its technology will be new.
