Hyundai is already working on the upcoming Elantra N, and today we have the first proof that the car is up and running. In a prototype form, of course.

Thanks to some Nurburgring fans, the future Elantra N was caught around the famous German race track.

The upcoming 2022 Elantra N will be the third model to join Hyundai’s performance line. As far as we know, the new model will share the drivetrain with the Kona N and Veloster N.

That means we’ll see a turbocharged 2.0 liter petrol unit with 275 horsepower. The engine will be matted to a six speed manual transmission or with an eight speed dual-clutch gearbox.
